As much as we love single-player, story-driven games, there is no denying that it’s always a blast to have another option that lets you play with friends. While some games may not make sense for this, we’ve seen in the past few weeks that even the most unlikely titles can receive co-op modes.
With that in mind, we’ve created a list of five games we think should get new co-op modes next.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Final Fantasy VII Remake changes a lot of things from the original game. Whether it’s the overall story or even the combat, the remake is essentially a completely different experience.
With those changes comes a unique open opportunity to implement a co-op system into the game. Thanks to the open movement of gameplay and the party member system, completing missions together cooperatively makes complete sense.
Getting to work together with friends using Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and Aerith would add a layer of depth to combat that would result in a whole new experience.
