Aisbaer Pro Aurora: a new batch of AIO from Alphacool

This morning, the news remains very focused on AIOs. After DeepCool and Asus, it’s Alphacool’s turn to make news. The manufacturer announces its Eisbaer Pro Aurora with copper radiators!

Aisbaer Pro Aurora: AIO with a copper radiator

Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora

This new series is intended for very large sockets on the market. Indeed, these kits offer a very wide copper base specially designed for Threadripper and Intel CPUs with socket LGA-3647. This base measures 55 x 42 mm and offers a total of 58 micro fins of 0.4 mm separated from each other by 0.4 mm. Ah, the material of this base is copper which is nickel-plated.

On top of the pump, which is a new generation DC-LT 2, there is a refill port. By the way, speaking of port, all the tips of these kits are in standard G1/4″ format. We will be able to modulate the set to our liking, especially since a quick connection system is part of the kit allowing us to easily add a Eiswolf 2 for GPU for example. Moreover, we know that the pump will run at 2600 RPM and will generate a flow of 75 l/h and a water column of 0.95 m.

The radiator, for its part, is made of copper, but this is a habit at Alphacool you will say. However, we find a model with a thickness of 30 mm and a fin density of 15 FPI. According to the brand, this is ideal and allows good air circulation, even when the fans are running at low speed.

Speaking of fans, we will be entitled to two or three Rise mills in 120 mm. These will be able to turn very fast since they go up to 2500 RPM. At this speed, forget any idea of silence. However, they have a static pressure of 3.17 mmH2O and an air flow of 119.8 m3/h.

We quickly end with the advertised prices. On this subject, Alphacool positions its Eisbaer Pro Aurora in 360 mm at ~185 € against ~160 € for the 240 mm. Be aware that, even if they are intended for large sockets, they remain compatible with AMD’s AM4. However, the small Intel sockets (LGA-1200, LGA-115x), we forget!
