As you can see above, the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT scored 8,719 on the Time Spy graphics benchmark which isn’t too good as the NVIDIA RTX 2070 scored 8,901. Of course, the NVIDIA RTX 2070 costs $50 more than the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT but, this is still bad news for AMD as the RTX 2070 features Ray Tracing which may make some gamers pay a $50 premium to use NVIDIA’s Ray Tracing technology.

AMD Navi Doesn’t Stand a Chance?

The NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER is supposedly going to cost about $500 but, it’s going to feature an unlocked RTX 2080 chip, 8GB of VRAM, and it is supposedly going to perform somewhere between the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080. When the RTX 2070 SUPER is released, the RTX 2070’s price is probably going to decrease by about $100 which means that the RTX 2070 may cost less than the Radeon RX 5700XT. The RTX 2070 is going to perform similarly to the RX 5700XT but, it will feature Ray Tracing and it may cost $50 less. Things don’t seem good for AMD.
