New concert discovery features are rolling out for Apple Music and Apple Maps users globally, giving them the opportunity to visit the best venues and listen to live sessions. Apple says that its team has expanded its features and aims to provide users the opportunity to meet with their favorite artists in an effort to get them more connected.
There are 40 new guides that Apple Maps users can take advantage of
As part of its features expansion, Apple Maps will include 40 new guides, allowing users to visit live shows based on their choice. The Apple Music Guides also give users the option to browse upcoming shows directly from the Maps app using Shazam’s discovery module. The new concert discovery features provide high-quality curated results for events happening at leading culture hubs. For example, depending on your taste, you will be provided an update if something is happening at the Viennese Symphony located in Austria.
If you want to read up on the production or a list surrounding the artists’ tours, that can also be done through the Apple Music app. According to the images, Apple has incorporated an ‘easy to use’ interface, allowing you to browse without getting confused. With the updates rolling out today, you will be able to experience those concert discovery features immediately. Unfortunately, while Apple has targeted a global release of this update, it will not be available to all users, as detailed in the text below.
