The Apple-Beats wireless headphones, BeatsX, will launch in the U.S. Friday, Beats By Dre announced on Twitter.
The earphones’ black and white models will be available when it releases. It is not clear whether the W1-equipped headphones will also launch outside the U.S. on Friday.
The BeatsX, which were revealed in September alongside the iPhone 7 and the AirPods, are priced at $149.95.

The wireless headphones offer up to 8 hours of battery life, while a 5-minute charge gives you 2 hours of playback. The BeatsX, which come with a Flex-Form cable, allows users to take calls, control your music and activate Siri. The earbuds are magnetic and attach to each other when hanging around a user’s neck. The BeatsX ear tips add-ons are available in four size options. The W1 chip in the BeatsX is more energy-efficient and enhances battery life.
The headphones will also come in new colors in the future, including blue and gray versions, according to Apple Insider.
The BeatsX comes after Apple’s successful run with the AirPods (Apple owns Beats), which were released on Dec. 13. Apple CEO Tim Cook called the AirPods a “runaway success.”
The BeatsX are slightly cheaper than the Airpods, which are priced at $159.
