PC gamers look away; GTA VI might not get a release on PCs

Rockstar Games has finally revealed the next Grand Theft Auto game, and it’s set to be the biggest and most immersive yet. Grand Theft Auto VI will take players to the fictional state of Leonida, where Vice City is situated.

The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in 2025. However, there is no mention of a PC version. This is not surprising, as Rockstar has a history of releasing its games on consoles first and then on PC later. For example, GTA IV arrived on PC six months after consoles in 2008, and GTA V took 18 months to jump. Red Dead Redemption 2 also landed on PC over a year after the console release.

With over a year left to go before the game arrives, there is still a chance that Rockstar is simply keeping the PC version’s reveal for later. However, it seems that PC players will have to wait a while to get their hands on the latest Grand Theft Auto game.

This is a big disappointment for PC gamers, who have been waiting for a new Grand Theft Auto game for almost a decade. However, Rockstar has a history of delivering high-quality games, so the wait will likely be worth it. Fingers crossed.
