'Build A Bridge' Cheats: Answers & Solutions For Every Level (iOS, Android)

Build The Bridge is a tricky new iOS and Android puzzler game that puts players’ physics and engineering know-how to the test. In each level of the game players must build a bridge to cross a divide of various types. In some cases it’s straightforward; in other cases your arching over steamboats, or large boulders that stand in your way. Finding a solution that works is challenging enough, but if you want to reach a three-star solution, you must not only build a design that holds up, it also has to fit within the constraints of a certain budget. If you’ve recently started playing Build a Bridge and are needing some beginner tips and tricks for building a three-star bridge or if you’re stuck on a particular level and are just looking for a cheat sheet of solutions for each puzzle, then you’ve come to the right place. Below we’ve offered a few quick tips and tricks for beginning builders as well as a walkthrough of three-star answers or solutions for building bridges on levels 10 through 30. Just keep in mind that the solutions we offer provide only one way that the bridge might be accomplished On level 10 for example, we found at least three different ways of building a three-star bridge so the solutions we provide may not be the only one that will work. They do serve, however, as a guide if you just can’t make it past a certain level.

Build A Bridge Beginner’s Tips And Tricks (iOS and Android)

Triangles play a central role in designing a bridge that will will remain standing.

Tip #1: Focus On Triangles

A shape that plays a central role to constructing these bridges is the triangle and when you go to build your bridge that should be your go-to shape as well. Equilateral triangles and scalene triangles will be the ones you’ll use most. When I first start out a new bridge I try to run a series of equilateral triangles under most of it first and then modify as needed.

Tip #2: Carefully Plan Your Grade

Because of the steep incline, this bridge required more expensive materials for support.

One thing that took me a while to figure out is that sometimes, the grade is everything. When you have to build a bridge across two areas that are differing heights, you will have to come up with a way to make your bridge incline or decline. If you create a bridge with a steep incline or decline, just keep in mind that this will cause more stress on your bridge than a gradually increasing grade will. With higher grade, you’ll have to provide more support and this could mean using more expensive materials. If the incline you have isn’t working try adjusting the grade and see if it makes your plans easier to accomplish.

Tip #3: Try Cheaper Materials First

This three-star level 10 solution uses only wood and will save you some bucks.

At various levels in the game you are introduced to new and stronger materials you can use, but with more strength or length also comes more cost. Generally, I try to build my bridges using only wood and road and only go to the more expensive materials if I need more support.

Tip #4: Don’t Forget About Ramps

Sometimes in Build a Bridge a ramp is the only way to keep your project on budget.

Sometimes building a three-star bridge all the way across a chasm seems impossible — and you’re probably right. In that case, to lower your costs, it might make more sense to build a ramp instead to catapult you across.
