In the absence of this years E3, CD Projekt Red have confirmed its own Cyberpunk 2077 event named Night City Wire via their official Twitter account. The event will take place on June 11th, 2020. E3 was to set take place on the same date, which perhaps is a good sign that we can expect some E3 level content from their new dedicated event.
At last year’s E3, CD Projekt Red generated a ton of excitement when they brought Keanu Reeves out on stage to reveal his role in Cyberpunk 2077. However, this year’s E3 would have been the last big event for them to show off their game before it releases this fall. With that in mind, I’m sure we can expect to see some new gameplay and CGI trailers that will tide us over until Cyberpunk 2077 releases on September 17th, 2020.
Currently, there are no details on where we can watch Night City Wire. Perhaps this will be part of an ongoing series that will lead us up to the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. We will update the story as we learn more.
