Strix LC II : Asus announces a new generation of AIO !

After DeepCoolwe stay in the world of AIOs with the brand Asus. The latter announces its new ROG Strix LC II kits, updated versions. Moreover, the changes made are mainly aesthetic.

Strix LC II: an aesthetic update!

Asus Strix LC II 360 ARGB

With these new AIO, Asus announces no less than five new models. We will have AIO in 240 mm with and without aRGB, a model in 280 mm aRGB and two versions in 360 mm. Again, you will have the choice between lighting or without.

But then, what changes compared to the first kits? Always just a few aesthetic points. We think especially of the radiator which benefits from a ROG logo stamped in the aluminum of the radiator. And for the ventilation, we note the appearance of an RGB light … And that’s all! Oh no, the logo of the pump also evolves.

Otherwise, we still have kits based on Asetek designs with a seventh generation pump. By the way, this one will be compatible with all the sockets on the market, even the AMD sTRX40. As for the speed, we know that it will run at least at 800 RPM.

For the ventilation, if you are looking for silence, it is better not to run the kit at full speed. Indeed, we find fans running up to 2500 RPM and there, it makes noise. On the other hand, this speed allows them to generate 5 mmH2O of static pressure and an airflow of 80.95 CFM. The 140 mm fans (from 280 mm), will work less quickly: from 700 RPM to 2100 RPM. Here, we lose in pressure: 3.1 mmH2O, but we gain in flow with 102.3 CFM.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the prices yet. However, if Asus keeps its positioning, these will clearly not be labeled “Eco+”. The current series costs more than 200 € (at LDLC) for the 240 mm model. Moreover, the warranty is 6 years.

This way to the 280 mm data sheet!
