Microsoft is today releasing a new build of Windows 10 Mobile to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The company is today pushing out build 15207 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, and that comes with one bug fix for the setup experience. Microsoft recently added a new privacy page to the OOBE with last week’s build which likely caused the issue. But today’s build includes a fix for a bug which caused their device to crash or reboot after unlocking their device for the first time after the upgrade.
The new privacy section in the OOBE in Windows 10 Mobile is a lot similar to the one introduced for PCs with the Windows 10 Creators Update. The new privacy page in the OOBE improves the privacy of users, as it gives them access to some of the common privacy settings when setting up a new device. As a result, the user can disable any privacy-related feature they want right from the get-go. For instance, you can disable things like location, speech recognition, etc.
The new privacy measures are part of Microsoft’s efforts to improve privacy in Windows 10. The company recently detailed all the data it collects in Windows 10 and detailed some of the new privacy changes that were released with the Windows 10 Creators Update earlier this month.
