Activision is gearing up to kick off the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 open beta for PC players on August 11. But before you dive in, you’ll want to make sure your rig can handle the action well. Thankfully, we now have an idea of the minimum and recommended specs for the beta test.
Treyarch and Activision are quick to point out that these specs only apply to the beta, so it’s likely we’ll see the full game sport a different set of recommendations. But, overall, it looks like you’ll be alright so long as you have a decently modern gaming PC. Here’s a look at both the minimum and recommended specs you’ll need to make sure you’re up to snuff.

As it did with Destiny 2, Activision is distributing Black Ops 4 via Blizzard’s Battle.net client, and the beta is no exception. If you’re looking to get in on the action, you’ll want to make sure you’ve downloaded the Battle.net desktop app and signed up for an account.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 open PC beta kicks off at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on August 10. The game is up for preorder now starting at $59.99. And if you preorder, you’ll get early access to the beta starting on August 10.
