Step 1: Open the Start menu either by pressing the Windows logo key or clicking on the Start button.
Step 2: On the left pane of the Start, perform a right-click on your user account picture to see the Lock option among other options.
Step 3: Click on the Lock option to lock your PC.

Lock Windows 10 PC using keyboard shortcut
The good old Windows logo and L keyboard shortcuts work great in Windows 10 as well. Simultaneously press the Windows logo and L keys on the keyboard to lock your computer immediately.

Step 1: Simultaneously, press Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys to see the Ctrl + Alt + Del screen. The screen displays Lock, Switch user, Sign out, and Task Manager options.

Step 1: Open the Command Prompt window by typing CMD in the Start/taskbar search box and pressing the Enter key. No need to run the Command Prompt as administrator.
Step 2: At the Command Prompt window, copy and paste the following command and then hit the Enter key to lock your PC.

Auto-lock your Windows 10 PC when you move away from your PC
There is a feature called Dynamic Lock in recent versions of Windows 10 to automatically lock your Windows 10 PC when you move away from it. The feature requires your smartphone to be paired with your Windows 10.
