Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X and Xbox Series X gameplay released

CD Projekt RED has released footage of Cyberpunk 2077 running on console hardware with their recently uploaded Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X and Xbox Series X gameplay video.

Posted on YouTube as part of the game’s Night City Wire video releases, the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X and Xbox Series X gameplay video shows an abridged version of an in-game mission that players can experience in the finished game.

In the video, CD Projekt switch between the two consoles to show the minor differences between the two systems. Keep in mind that the full next-gen update for Xbox Series X will come at a later date.

While the video doesn’t show a massive graphical difference between the two versions, there is a sizable performance gulf with Xbox One X showcasing multiple performance issues, especially when in combat.

This isn’t too surprising. CD Projekt RED is creating an ambitious title for consoles that have quite aged CPUs. However, it still does leave us wondering about the base Xbox One and PS4 versions of Cyberpunk.

While Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X and Xbox Series X gameplay is good to see, the reports of base consoles being the cause for the game’s multiple delays is worrisome.
