Apple’s newest generation of iPhone Plus models have sold out globally, Reuters rapporteret Wednesday. The iPhone 7 Plus has entirely sold out around the world, while the smaller iPhone 7 models have sold-out in the new jet-black color.
“We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible,” said Trudy Muller, an Apple spokesperson, in a statement.
The new handsets made their official debut at a highly anticipated Apple preview event earlier this month in San Francisco. Both the Apple iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus are expected to officially hit stores Friday, but customers who enter Apple Stores Friday will have to continue to place orders online, Apple said.
So how exactly does one get their hands on an iPhone 7 Plus? A good deal of patience helps, and if you haven’t done it already, it might be best to fill that forudbestille now before the other colors run out.
In the U.S., Australia and the U.K., there is a three to five week delay time for the iPhone 7 model in the (currently) sold-out jet-black color, Tech Radar indberetteed. The site writes that “a vague ‘November’ time” for the iPhone 7 Plus in the popular jet-black is expected. Customers can expect to wait two to three weeks for the other 7 Plus colors.
“Based on everything I’ve seen it looks like demand is very strong,” analyst Jan Dawson of Jackdaw Research told Reuters in an email.
