New photos claiming to show the packaging of Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for the Russian market have surfaced online, and they appear to corroborate a previous report about the Cupertino giant’s upcoming iPhones arriving with bundled wireless AirPods.
Apple Insider has once again received photos of alleged iPhone 7 boxes and just like the previous one showing the iPhone 7 Plus packaging that the Apple-centric news site reported about yesterday, these new pictures appear to confirm the presence of the Bluetooth earphones called AirPods as a bundled accessory for the Apple smartphones.

Two of the photos that are part of the newly leaked batch of insider snaps also show the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus boxes adjacent to each other. All models featured in the pictures belong to the 256GB model line — the newest and the biggest storage option that Apple is expected to introduce during its Sept. 7 media event.
Although these newly leaked photos coincide with the one showing the iPhone 7 Plus packaging from yesterday’s report, Apple Insider pointed out that product packaging, especially the white ones, are easy to fake. Detailing the inconsistencies in the boxes, the site stated that the sticker label at the back of the packaging is not typical of Apple’s product packaging for its iPhones. The tech site also noticed some inconsistencies in the arrangement of the texts and the size of the product name.
This new leak comes amid reports claiming that the Cupertino giant is debuting a Lightning-to-headphone jack adapter as a bundled accessory to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets that are reportedly not coming with the universal 3.5mm headphone jack. On top of the jack adapter, 9To5Mac previously reported that the bundle for each handset would also include Lightning EarPods.
Since the new leaks and the previous reports contradict each other, it’s really hard to tell what Apple has prepared for its loyal customers and fans on its big day next Wednesday.
