Not Pre-Ordering iPhone X? You Can Grab One From An Apple Store On Launch Day If You’re Early

Apparently keen to somewhat allay fears that the iPhone X will be in such short supply it will only be available via online orders come launch day, November 3, Apple has announced that its latest flagship release will indeed be available for walk-in purchases on the big day.

Previous speculation had suggested that a severe lack of available units would hamper Apple’s ability to get stock into stores, however Apple has confirmed that this will not be the case.

While it is keen to ensure everyone knows that there will be in-store stock of the iPhone X on launch day, it has obviously stopped short of saying just how many units will be on hand. Past iPhone launches have seen limited quantities arrive in stores, ready for launch day, with supplies remaining constrained for days and sometimes weeks. If the iPhone X has been as difficult to manufacture at scale as reports would suggest, then it is likely that while stock will be available, it will be in comically small numbers.

iPhone X will be available in more than 55 countries and territories, and in Apple Stores beginning Friday, November 3 at 8:00 a.m. local time. Stores will have iPhone X available for walk-in customers, who are encouraged to arrive early.

Apple has also confirmed that the iPhone X will be available in a huge number of countries simultaneously come November 3, something that may suggest there will be more handsets to go around than initially feared. It is, however, possible that this huge launch scale will actually impact the numbers available if Apple is spreading stock too thin. We shall have to wait for launch day to be able to make a real judgement on that one.

The iPhone X will go on sale in the following countries on November 3rd.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, the US and US Virgin Islands

Pre-orders kick off this coming Friday, October 27th, at 12:01AM PT.
