OneDrive til iOS snags split screen multitasking support, Outlook til iOS opdateres også

Microsoft updated OneDrive og Outlook on iOS, adding some much-needed features. Microsoft added a number of bug fixes and stability improvements to OneDrive on iOS, version 6.11.6, including:

  • You can now purchase an Office 365 subscription from the app and enjoy 1 TB of storage. That’s enough space for plenty of your favorite cat photos
  • Take your productivity to new heights. The app now supports split screen multitasking on compatible iOS 9 devices
  • You can now share links to your OneDrive for Business files with others in your organization
  • Fixed: App crashing when opening a PDF
  • Fixed: Issue with files not attaching when using the “Email in Outlook” feature

With Outlook on iOS, Microsoft added the ability to see pictures of attendees in events in agenda view, as well as shortcuts in the day and 3-day inbox views. To create a new event in Outlook on iOS, simply tap and hold a time slot to create a new event.

Another added bonus feature for Outlook on iOS is that iOS 9 users can use their Touch ID to protect your Outlook inbox. To enable Touch ID, you’ll need to change your Preferences in the Outlook for iOS app settings.

If you haven’t done so already, give OneDrive and Outlook on iOS a try, they’re free to download.
