Antec announces a new housing reference. The American brand is announcing its DF700 Flux enclosure, an airflow oriented model. For this, there will be a mesh front panel, a material that is much more breathable than the good old glass panel, for example.
DF700 Flux: a flow oriented enclosure for Antec!
With this box, the manufacturer offers us a reference with dimensions of 220 (W) x 467 (D) x 486 (H) mm. The weight is announced at 7.4 kg, which is justified by the use of plastic, steel and 4 mm tempered glass.
On the inside, it is the classic layout with a power supply tunnel at the bottom and a motherboard slot at the top. By the way, speaking of motherboard, this case will be compatible with ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX formats. Still within the limitations, there will be 405 mm of free space for the GPU, 175 mm for the fan and 205 mm for the power supply.
On the storage side, there will be up to six slots. Indeed, we find an HDD cage with two 3.5″/2.5″ compatible baskets. In addition, there are three 2.5″ and one 3.5″ slots on the back of the motherboard tray.
Clearly, there will be room for cooling. The brand name mentions nine slots for 120 mm fans. There will be three slots at the top, three at the front, one at the back and two on the power supply cover. The basic box offers five fans with three RGB mills on the front, one on the back and one on the power supply cover. Complete ventilation is standard!
For watercooling, two 360 mm slots on the front and top are also available. Please note that there is an opening of max. 55 mm in the power supply cover. This will allow the installation of thick radiators.
Finally, a controller that controls up to six fans on three pins is included. In view of the capacity, this is a welcome feature. As with the RGB, the controller will be able to manage up to six aRGB devices. Now all you have to do is wait before you know the price. For the moment, it has not been communicated.
