Final Fantasy XIV “Death Unto Dawn” Soundtrack Features Masayoshi Soken’s Latest Masterpieces

Today Square Enix featured an upcoming soundtrack Blu-ray featuring the awesome music of Final Fantasy XIV, titled “Death Unto Dawn.”

Despite the title, the soundtrack doesn’t just include the music of update 5.5 (which is indeed titled “Death Unto Dawn,” but it comes with a whopping 84 tracks from updates from 5.1 to 5.5 from Final Fantasy XIV’s super-talented music team led by composer Masayoshi Soken.

It will be released on September 15, 2021, and it’ll be available in the west.

Incidentally, the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion Endwalker will release on November 23, 2021, for PS5, PS4, and PC. A benchmark will be released tomorrow for PC, including the male viera character creation.

If you’re unfamiliar with Final Fantasy XIV, it’s currently available for PlayStation 4, PS5, and PC. The upgrade to PS5 is offered free of charge to those who own the PS4 version.
