Google’s Fast Pair feature can now help you track down compatible accessories. So, if you misplace your OnePlus Buds or second-gen Google Pixel Buds, you can easily locate them using the Find My Device or Find My Accessories service. It can also be used if the buds aren’t connected to your phone provided that you had Location History enabled.

  2. Here, you’ll see the list of all-compatible buds your phone was last connected to, alongside the time and date.
  3. You’ll also see the bud’s last known location on a map with a headphones icon pinned to a gray background.

Apart from locating the buds, you can also see their battery life and play a sound to locate your lost buds. Just make sure that you’ve upgraded the buds to the latest firmware and set up find my device when setting them up.

The fast pair features work only with Android 6.0 and above, having Google Play services 11.7+. On phones running Android 10, you can also tweak earphones/ buds settings, like linking it to Google Assistant and accessing Find My Device, right from the device details page.
