Free Google Stadia Premiere Edition Available If You Pre-Order Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Stadia pre-order users are getting a special offer apparently aimed at drawing an audience to the streaming video game platform.

On the game’s official listing on Google Stadia, there’s a new bonus available. Anyone who pre-orders the upcoming title by CD Projekt RED can get themselves a free Premiere Edition of Google’s streaming service along with it.

That means for $59.99, you can purchase Cyberpunk 2077, as well as a Google Stadia controller, and the version of the Chromecast that will allow you to play the service’s library on your television.

There is one caveat to the deal: you won’t be able to redeem the Google Stadia Premiere Edition until after Cyberpunk 2077 releases.

The company tells users on the store page that they should be on the lookout for a redemption code for the controller and Chromecast “shortly” after launch.

On another page spelling out the details, Google said the redemption codes might not go out until Jan. 15, more than a month after the game’s newest release date.

Users who take advantage of the offer have until Jan. 31, 2021 to redeem the Premiere Edition offer code once they receive it. Users must also be 18 or older to take advantage.

This special offer is just the latest installment of what has been a wave of Cyberpunk 2077 news this week.

Earlier on Thursday, CD Projekt RED unveiled a new gameplay video starring Keanu Reeves. The developer has also rolled out several selections from the game’s official soundtrack.

After several delays, the developers say Cyberpunk 2077’s Dec. 10 release date is the final, official launch date on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia.

A dedicated PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version will come next year.
