LG G6, V20, V30, and V35 Get Google Camera With Night Sight Port

One of the things that set the Pixels apart from the competition is the Google Camera app. Combined with the devices’ cutting-edge hardware, the experience is unparalleled and one of the best in the market right now. The developer community for Google Camera ports has been abuzz for the better part of this year. Members have successfully created a Google Camera port for several non-Pixel devices such as the OnePlus 6T and Poco F1. Although there are a lot of devices that are yet to receive the port, the list is only getting bigger. Today, some LG phone owners might finally get the change to get a taste of Google Camera. The app has made massive improvements to a lot of smartphones and now we have a Night Sight-ready port for the LG G6, LG V20 LG V30, and the LG V35 ThinQ.

The stock LG camera app is by no means underwhelming and is host to several exclusive features. However, when it comes to the simple point and click photos, the Google camera still reigns supreme. What sets Google Camera’s Night Sight apart from conventional low-light photography techniques is that it uses Google’s machine learning prowess to ‘insert’ light into an otherwise dark picture.
