Rockstar Game’s Red Dead Redemption is one of the best live-action games of this year. The game which is based on the lives of Western gangs came head to head with God of War. Since Rockstar Games has launched its online version, players from around the world are coming up with different insights, including some secret locations and easter eggs.

Even though the game is huge and follows an incredible storyline, there are several hidden locations which a player can come across throughout the game. Some of these secret locations help us finding some easter-eggs, while some offer the players some amazing weapons.

Here are 5 such secret locations you can find in Red Dead Redemption 2 which gives you some super cool weapons.

1. The secret back room behind Doctor’s at Valentine

While exploring Valentine, several players came across a doctor’s place, who have some hidden agenda altogether. However, if one goes to sniff around at the back, there is a hidden back room in his storeroom.

If one approaches the storeroom, the doctor becomes a little agitated and asks us to leave immediately. But, if we threaten and force him to open the closed door, we come across O’Driscoll’s men. After dealing with them in the way which only Arthur Morgan can settle things out in the West, the player can find a Schofield revolver in a box.

2. Broken Pirate Sword

If you thought that Red Dead Redemption 2 had nothing related to pirates and their cool weapons, then you missed some pretty great details about this game. Apart from customizing Arthur Morgan to look like a pirate, players can even get their hands on a broken pirate sword. It does not do anything but it is always cool to show off with a pirate sword.

The broken pirate sword can be found in a wrecked boat just outside the small island south of Saint-Denis bridge. Word of caution, you should go there during daytime and also make sure not to fall in the river. Few players have reported that they have come across alligators in that region and you won’t be feeling happy to kill an alligator with your broken pirate sword.

3. Wide-Blade Knife

While speaking about swords, there’s one cool knife that can be found on a corpse in Beryls-Dream-Mine, west of Mount Shann.

If you want to acquire this amazing knife, you have to enter the mine from the south and start interacting with the plunger at the start of the mine to blow up the entrance. Upon entering the decimated place, use your lantern and you will find the corpse with the knife inside him.

4. Midnight’s Pistol

As per the in-game description, Midnight’s Pistol is a rare Mauser Pistol, which features gold-plated engravings and has a black wooden grip. The pistol was previously owned by the late gunslinger Billy Midnight, hence the name.

The revolver can be found in the Gunslinger mission in Valentine — The Noblest of Men, and A Women. To find Billy Midnight, the player has to examine and read his photo to unlock the mission. The player has to go to the post office in Rhodes, and enquire about his whereabouts from the clerk. Soon, a little chase will begin between Arthur and Billy, and then a duel. After killing or defeating him, the player can pick up the firearm from his body.

5. Viking Hatchet

Just like a pirate sword, which was highly unusual for a game like Red Dead Redemption 2, players can also get their hands on a rare Viking Hatchet. As per the in-game description, “A rare ancient Hatchet, engraved all over with Nordic patterns and bound with leather. This melee weapon was found at an old stone altar in the Roanoke Valley area of New Hanover, lodged into a skull. This Hatchet can also be thrown.”
