Google Chrome asked to change your password

If Google Chrome detects any suspicious activity in your Google Account, it may ask you to change your password. Several users have reported similar password issues with the browser.

According to Google, this is a security measure and recommends the users to change the account password immediately to protect the account as well as remove the message.

In this article, we take a look at a couple of possible solutions to help you resolve Chrome asked to change password error.

Quick Tip

Opera browser for Windows 10 Desktop

Because Chrome is the most popular browser, it becomes an appealing target for hackers. Scripts designed specifically for Chrome are developed and pushed into the wild.

You should switch to Opera. It’s less known but it is actually a better browser.

You don’t have to worry about learning new software. If you take a look at the settings page you will feel right at home, because it’s based on Chromium.

Easily import your bookmarks, and you are good to go. Syncing your tabs and sending links from one device to another can be done using an Opera account.

This way, your Google account is only used for services that matter, such as your email.

Secure browser with great protection against tracking and online threats.
