'GTA 5' March Update: Future DLCs To Bring New Special Vehicles, Stunt Races, And More

It’s been a minute since we last heard about GTA 5, but Rockstar has finally dropped some brand-new deets regarding future content for the game. According to the latest blog post from Rockstar last week, GTA Online will receive new Special Vehicle Races update in the weeks ahead and more in the coming months as well, “with new criminal enterprises to dominate, new vehicles to acquire and more…”

First up, Rockstar cooked up some new Stunt Race events for GTA Online. The GTA Online Stunt Race Event 2017, which ends March 13, introduces 15 brand-new stunt races created by Rockstar. Gamers that log in will also unlock a free pink Jock Cranley Stuntman jumpsuit as well as receive 25 percent off cunning stunts items including the Annis RE-7B race car.

The next GTA 5 update will arrive in March and introduce an all-new style of Stunt Races designed specifically to demonstrate the abilities of the new special vehicles, including the Rocket Voltic, the Ruiner 2000 and the Blazer Aqua. Of course, creators will also create their own wacky races so expect all sorts of mayhem to be created for these special vehicles.

Looking ahead, GTA Online will also have more content coming in the Spring, including a dodgeball-style game called Resurrection, as well as a new game called Top Down, which calls back to the classic era of 2D GTA.

New vehicles also coming to GTA Online in spring include some of the most requested classic GTA vehicles, back by popular demand, including Progen GP1, Turismo Classic and the Infernus Classic back in GTA 3.

GTA Online Progen GP1 The Progen GP1 is arriving to GTA Online in a future DLC.

Last, but not least, expect to see Gunrunning, a new business objective in future GTA 5 updates. Gunrunning involves stocking up on weapons and taking on the craziest militias across San Andreas. New missions and new weaponized vehicles will join GTA Online as players prepare for a journey to illegal arms trade supremacy.
