How to Check Your PC’s Specifications on Windows 11 Systems

There are many features on Windows 11 that are inherited from Windows 10. However, Microsoft has tweaked quite a few of the things that we are used to. One of them is the Settings app. So, if you struggle to find things that you used to quite easily before, don’t worry. You aren’t alone. In this tutorial, I will show you how to check your PC’s specifications on Windows 11.

To check specifications, you need to open Settings. PC specs were found in the Settings app on Windows 10 as well. In Windows 11, there are various ways to open the Settings app. I will walk you through those methods, and you can pick whichever you find the easiest.

Step-1: You can open the Settings app by clicking any one of the following ways:

  • Click on the Windows icon on the taskbar and then click on the Settings cog.

  • Click on the Search bar icon on the taskbar and then click on the More option. You will see the Settings app in the expandable list.

  • This is perhaps the easiest way to open the Settings app, which has been carried forward from Windows 10. Press the shortcut keys Win + I on your keyboard, and the Settings app will open.

Step-2: Once the Settings app opens, select the System tab from the left. In Windows 10, when you opened Settings, these options were not situated as a left pane, but they were in the form of tiled icons.

Step-3: Scroll down till you reach the very end. Click on About.

Step-4: Once you do, you will be able to see Device specifications and Windows Specifications.

Step-5: If you need these specifications stored somewhere or send them to someone, you can click on the Copy button next to Device specifications and Windows specifications. Once you click the Copy button, the specs will be copied, and you can paste them to your desired location by using the shortcut keys for Paste (Ctrl + V).
