The Chrome team is delighted to announce the promotion of Chrome 62 to the stable channel for Windows, Mac and Linux. This will roll out over the coming days/weeks. Download and Install Chrome

You can download Chrome 62 from https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html and install it manually.

You can also install Google Chrome 62 via Terminal commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list

Now copy and paste the following line to the bottom of the sources.list file

deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main

Now continue the installation by running the following commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install google-chrome-stable
