Want to pull back a video that you’ve reposted in your TikTok profile? If so, un-reposting TikTok videos is as easy as finding the video and tapping an option. We’ll show you how to do that on your iPhone or Android phone.

Just to clarify, when you undo repost a video, the original video continues to exist on the platform. It’s just your repost of that video that gets removed.

Step 1: Find Your Reposted TikTok Video

To undo repost a video, the first thing you have to do is to find the video that you’ve reposted. This can be tricky because TikTok doesn’t let you see all of your reposts at once, but there are ways to find it.

In case you’ve saved the video to your bookmark list, finding it easy. Open the TikTok app on your phone, tap “Profile” at the bottom, choose the “Favorites” tab, and select your video.

Select the video to un-repost.

If you haven’t bookmarked the video, you can still find it, but you’ll have to use TikTok’s search function. In the TikTok app, tap the search icon in the top-right corner and find the video you want to undo repost. You can enter the relevant keywords to find your video. For example, if your video was about a monkey climbing a tree, use keywords like “monkey climbing tree” to find the video.

Find the video to undo repost.

Once you’ve found the video, undo repost it using the following section.

Step 2: Delete Your TikTok Video Repost

To now remove your repost of the video, tap the video so it begins to play.

In the video’s right side, tap the right-arrow icon.

Select the right-arrow icon on the right.

In the “Share To” menu that opens, choose “Remove Repost.”

Tap

And TikTok will immediately un-repost your selected video. You’re all set.
