How To View All Startup Programs In Windows 10

When you turn on your Windows 10 PC, several services and programs load with Windows 10. One of the best ways to speed up your Windows 10 boot is to prevent unwanted programs from loading with Windows 10. But how do you know that which programs are starting along with Windows 10?

There are multiple ways out there to view programs that start with Windows 10. Following are the two easy ways to view all the applications that load with Windows 10.

Method 1 of 2

View startup apps in Windows 10 via Settings

Step 1: Open the Settings app. Navigate to Apps > Startup page.

Step 2: The Startup page displays applications that load with Windows 10. If a program is loading with Windows 10, the toggle button next to the program/app’s entry will be in “On” position. To prevent a program from starting with Windows 10, move the toggle button present next to the application entry to the Off position. That is it!

Method 2 of 2

View startup programs via Task Manager in Windows 10

This the classic way to view programs that start with Windows 10

Step 1: Open the Task Manager by right-clicking on an empty spot on the taskbar and then clicking on the Task Manager option. Alternatively, use Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open the Task Manager quickly.

Step 2: In the Task Manager, click on the More details button to expand the Task Manager.

Step 3: Switch to the Startup tab. As you can see, the tab displays programs that automatically load with Windows 10. The Status column displays which programs are enabled and disabled. To stop a program from starting with Windows 10, right-click on the program’s entry and then click the Disable option. As simple as that!

We recommend you go through all entries and disable programs that you find not necessary. You can always white list programs again.
