Ardent gamers of PUBG, as it’s also known, from around the world were shocked when they found out that their favorite battle game was offline. PUBG Mobile servers were down for a long time due to maintenance. Tencent Games confirmed the downtime and stated the game will be going live shortly after they bring the new patches.

DayZ is one of the games that initially took the whole battle royale genre of video games to prominence. Here, players are supposed to spawn on a remote island filled with zombies that feed on human brains. You have to survive with the help of and by working with other players on the island.

Simultaneously, players can also retain the option to run solo and kill everyone who comes in their way. If you haven’t tried engaging in this game, it is highly recommended for PUBG fans.

GTA Online: Motor Wars

A veteran in the gaming world, Grand Theft Auto enjoys a dedicated fan-following. Rockstar added an alternative mode to its GTA Online called Motor Wars. Fortnite

Many online gamers have commented on the fact that Fortnite battle royale has replicated the PUBG experience. However, ever since its launch in 2017, the game has seen a massive success as a PUBG competitor.

The gaming mode introduces crafting and resource management to build huge fortresses and destroy the enemy from the top of those buildings. As a battle royale game, it features up to 100 players, alone or in squads of up to four players, attempting to stay alive until the very end.

The game was first released for Windows, PS4, Xbox One and in mid-2018, it was launched for Android enabled mobiles.

The Culling

Created by American studio Xaviant, The Culling was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. The game followed the story of 16 players as they all are placed in either a small island or a prison. The provided maps contained bridges, poison gas, hazardous materials, and other.

Upon completing several tasks, players received in-game currency which they can use to purchase equipment and upgrades each match. Following the massive success of Fortnite Battle Royale and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Xaviant halted subsequent development of The Culling.

Rust: Battle Royale

The objective of Rust is simple. The player has to survive in the wilderness using stolen or gathered materials. As the game begins, the players are provided with nothing but a rock and a torch and are required to hunt animals to survive in the forest. Additionally, the non-player characters like helicopters, fly around attacking armed players. By 2017, Rust had sold over five million copies.
