Right off the heels of Swamp Thing’s reveal for Injustice 2, NetherRealm Studios has released a brand new gameplay trailer featuring some of the femme fatales of the Injustice universe including a returning and new character.
In the new Injustice 2 trailer, some more Black Canary gameplay is shown but it’s the introduction of Poison Ivy’s gameplay that takes the show. We’ve known she was a part of Injustice 2 from the story trailer but this is the first time we get to see her in action.
Catwoman also returns in Injustice 2 while Cheetah, one of Wonder Woman’s greatest villains, will round out the latest batch of Injustice 2 reveals.

Catwoman’s return isn’t all that surprising, considering that Harley Quinn’s return and the reveal of Poison Ivy meant the third member of the Gotham City Sirens was missing.
Cheetah’s inclusion is a pleasant surprise as Wonder Woman seemed to be lacking in the villain department this time around, assuming that Aries doesn’t return. Batman got Poison Ivy as a new villain while Superman has Brainiac’s inclusion so the other Trinity member was left out of having new villains join Injustice 2.
The confirmation that Catwoman and Cheetah will join the Injustice 2 roster brings the number of fighters to 18, which include Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Atrocitus, Brainiac, Darkseid, Flash, Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Black Canary, Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Swamp Thing, Poison Ivy, Aquaman and Robin.
Injustice 2 will release May 16.
