Selling a new PC can be tough sometimes unless you offer a crazy form factor and amazing specs.
The new ThinkPad X1 Yoga offers all of that, but in their latest marketing video has also decided to rely on the wonders of Cortana, promoting its features in the business context, offering reminders, directions and even the ability to find documents by voice, and noting special adaptations such as array microphones and noise cancelling features.
If you are looking for more basic specs and features, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga includes all the usual high-end specs you’d expect to see on a premium business laptop. The device packs Intel’s 7th-gen Core i7 (7600U) processor, Intel’s HD Graphics 620 for the GPU, and up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The display of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a 14-inch WQHD OLED panel — but an IPS panel and an FHD variant are also available. For the internal storage, Lenovo has packed a whopping 1TB of SSD PCIe storage.
The device’s battery is also very good, and Lenovo says it can offer up to 15 hours of battery life. The ports of the device include 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, 3 USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, one MicroSD slot and a MicroSIM slot as well. Interestingly, Lenovo initially announced that the device would pack n IR camera with face recognition support for Windows Hello at CES but that no longer seems to be the case as the device only includes a fingerprint scanner now.
