The team behind the famous TeamViewer software releases a major update around this time of the year. Continuing its tradition, the team updated the TeamViewer to version 15 a few days ago.
TeamViewer 15 is the latest version of TeamViewer available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and major smartphone operating systems. Unlike earlier versions, surprisingly, TeamViewer 15 doesn’t include many new features.
According to the official forum, with TeamViewer 15, you get better audio quality within a TeamViewer meeting and remote control connection. In addition to this, you will find simplified and clear choices to define the automatic update behavior of the client under Advanced Options.
TeamViewer 15 is fully compatible with Windows 10 version 1909 (November 2019 Update). So, if you are running version 1909 or a later version, be sure to update to TeamViewer 15.
As always, you cannot establish a connection from a previous version of TeamViewer to TeamViewer 15. So, be sure to update your TeamViewer software to the latest version right away. To update, click the Help menu and then click Check for the new version. If an update is available, you will get a TeamViewer Update dialog with an Update button. Click on the Update button to download and automatically install it.
Remote file transfer, remote printing, auto-record sessions, remote reboot, and wake on LAN are some of the handy but lesser-known features of TeamViewer.
