GA15: more accessible machines than the GA35!

This morning, we go into the world of pre-assembled PCs with Asus ROG which completes a series of machines. On the program, we find three new GA15. As always, brand lovers will appreciate the look of these machines!

GA15: pre-assembled PCs with Ryzen CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs!

Asus ROG GA15

We start with the dimensions which are much less imposing than those of the GA35 that we tested here. Indeed, this model 15 displays 195 (W) x 421 (D) x 498 (H) mm and the weight is 11 kg. As we can see, we find the spirit of the GA35 on the front with the RGB border in diagonal and the ROG logo at the top.

In terms of configuration, apart from a change of graphics card and processor depending on the model, the base remains the same. Thus, we can count on a B550 motherboard coupled with 16 GB of RAM in DRR4 at 3200 MHz. For the storage part, we have a single SSD in PCIe 3.0 x2 of 512 GB. This may seem rather limited, however, we imagine that we will be able to slip in a hard drive later on. Of course, the motherboard includes a WiFi module for internet connection.

Finally, what interests us most, the CPU and GPU. As we told you, three machines are on board and the top of the range has a Ryzen 7 5800X and an RTX 3070. The mid-range model again features a Ryzen 7 5800X, but we switch to a GTX 1660 Ti. Finally, on the more accessible model, we switch to a Ryzen 5 3600X and a GTX 1660 Super.

We finish with the prices which are :

  • 2075 € for the G15DK-R75R3070E with RTX 3070 and Ryzen 7 5800X
  • 1539 for the G15DK-R75G1660TE with GTX 1660 Ti and Ryzen 7 5800X
  • 1149 € for the G15DK-R5G1660SEC with GTX 1660 Super and Ryzen 5 3600X

Here is the technical data sheet of Asus
