Next-Gen 7nm AMD Ryzen (Zen 3) CPUs coming 2020 While Intel Is VERY Far From 10nm CPUs | Official Roadmaps Released

Intel 10nm CPUs Are Very Far From Release

AMD Zen 2

Right now AMD’s latest Ryzen CPUs based on the 7nm Zen 2 architecture have blown away all competition from Intel. This time around Intel didn’t have anything up its sleeve. Intel had a complete monopoly over the CPU market as AMD Ryzen was destroyed by Intel’s Coffe Lake CPU series. Well, it seems like AMD and Intel are going to switch places in the hardware market as the next-gen Ryzen CPUs are coming at the beginning of 2020 while Intel’s 10nm CPUs seem to be years away from release,

AMD CPU Roadmap Released

Like always, AMD roadmaps are very exciting as it is said that the next-gen Zen 3 CPUs based on the 7nm+ architecture are going to be released in 2020. The Zen 3 CPUs are going to bring performance increases over Zen 2 which means that Intel will not be able to compete at all. If Intel can’t compete with the current generation of Ryzen CPUs, they’ll have a really hard time competing with Zen 3.

Intel Leaked Roadmap

A while back we got our hands on a supposed leaked Intel roadmap which claims that we aren’t going to get our hands on the next-gen 10nm Intel CPUs anytime soon. This isn’t the first time that we have heard about this. We have known that Intel is having issues with their next-gen CPUs for a while now but, this is the first time that we have gotten our hands on a somewhat credible Intel roadmap. We have known for a while now that Intel doesn’t exactly have any plan for the future of their CPUs.

Intel Can’t Compete With AMD

As you read above, Intel has no plans for the future of their CPUs. AMD Zen 2 is able to destroy all of its competitors right now as Intel Coffe Lake has a really hard time competing. Of course, Zen 2 is beaten by Intel in gaming benchmarks (By 1 or 2 FPS) but, Zen 2 absolutely destroys Intel Coffe Lake in productivity benchmarks which is why many users chose to go with AMD instead of Intel this generation. The issue for Intel is that the next-gen AMD CPUs are coming out in 2020 while Intel is nowhere close to releasing their updated CPUs. Now, with Zen 3 coming out, Intel will be absolutely wrecked in gaming and productivity benchmarks.
