The OnePlus 3T will be unveiled this week, but the specifications for next year’s OnePlus 4 have already been leaked. The upcoming handset is said to come with an even larger RAM capacity and a dual-camera setup.
The OnePlus 4, which might also be called the OnePlus 5, will come in an 8GB RAM model alongside a 6GB RAM variant. As for its processors, one is expected to sport a Snapdragon 830 processor, while the other is likely to launch with the Snapdragon 835 chip. The handset is also expected to come with 128GB of internal storage, a massive 4,000 mAh battery, a 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display and a “glass-made body,” according to a leak found on Weibo.
The addition of dual cameras on the OnePlus 4 may also come with some additional features. The dual-camera setup is said to feature a combination of augmented reality and mixed reality cameras, according to Phone Arena. It remains unclear how exactly the technology would benefit users aside from capturing better quality photos and videos.
The rumors specs for the OnePlus 4.
Since the source of the leak is questionable, this should only be considered as a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, some of the specifications listed by the Weibo tipster matches the rumors from last month about the 2K screen resolution, processor and battery capacity of the handset.
The OnePlus 4 is expected to launch next summer and to compete with 2017’s top flagships from Samsung and Apple. If any of the information leaked this week is accurate, the OnePlus 4 is shaping up to be one of the most interesting handsets in 2017.
Fans shouldn’t expect an announcement for the OnePlus 4 yet, but at least they’ll be getting the OnePlus 3T this Tuesday. The first photo for the OnePlus 3T has surfaced online ahead of its Nov. 15 reveal.
OnePlus 3T leaked photo.
The photo, which is just a drawing of the handset, shows that the 3T will be quite thin. Other than that, it looks pretty much the same as the OnePlus 3. The photo was shared by Android Soul on Monday.
The OnePlus 3T is expected to go on sale right after its announcement on Tuesday. The new device is expected to sell for $479, which is $80 dollars more than the OnePlus 3.
