Yesterday, we reported about the first look of the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition smartphone. It’s also being said that OnePlus will start taking pre-orders from November 9, and now, we may have got another evidence that suggests that the launch date is near.
An OnePlus smartphone with model number KB2007 has recently been spotted on GeekBench benchmarking site. This is definitely not the recently-launched OnePlus 8T that carries model number KB2001. Instead, it seems that the KB2007 is a new variant of the OnePlus 8T. And since we’re not going to get a “Pro” variant this year, the new variant could very well be the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition. If that is the case, the November launch date for the 8T Limited Edition also makes sense as upcoming smartphones usually get listed on GeekBench a few months prior to their release date.
Talking about the GeekBench score, the smartphone manages to get a single-core score of 891 and a multi-core score of 3104 on GeekBench 5. Apart from that, the GeekBench listing also suggests that the smartphone has a 12GB of RAM and is powered by Snapdragon 865. It will offer Android 11 out of the box.
