OnePlus Reveals Enough 10 Pro Specs to Prove It’s a Beast

The green OnePlus 10 Pro in a moon crater.

OnePlus finally revealed its first teaser images of the 10 Pro flagship on July 3rd, and it’s now confirming some of the phone’s specs. We’re still missing a lot of basic details, which is annoying, but at least we know enough to confirm that the OnePlus 10 Pro is a genuine monster.

Ignoring Xiaomi and Motorola’s upcoming China-only releases, the OnePlus 10 Pro is the first smartphone to pack a cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It has a massive 5000mAh battery, and it can charge at a maximum speed of 80 watts—a major upgrade over the OnePlus 9 Pro’s 45-watt charging.

Here are the OnePlus 10 Pro specs we know so far:

So, what’s missing here? We still don’t know the OnePlus 10 Pro’s screen size, storage and RAM configurations, or the full details behind its camera array. We’re also missing the price, and of course, OnePlus still hasn’t confirmed a release date outside of China.

All of these official specs line up with leaked information, minus the rumored 125-watt charging speed, which I’m not too surprised about (OnePlus phones can get kind of hot charging at top speed, and 125-watt charging is terrible for a phone’s battery health).

Given what we know, I think it’s safe to assume that rumors of a 6.7-inch display are correct, and the base model OnePlus 10 Pro probably comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, the rear camera specs are identical to the OnePlus 9 Pro, so I’m guessing this new flagship has a 48MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto camera.

Of course, I’m just speculating. OnePlus will share the 10 Pro’s full specs eventually—after all; this phone launches on January 10th in China.
