Optix AG321CQR: a curved MSI WQHD monitor!

We leave a little aside the AIO (to come back later, don’t worry) with a new screen. Indeed, MSI announces the Optix AG321CQR, a new curved monitor with a curved panel and a VA panel!

MSI Optix AG321CR

For the time being, we’re going to go pretty fast with this model. Thus, the brand offers us a new 32″ reference with a curved VA panel. On this subject, the radius of curvature is announced at 1500R. In terms of resolution, we find a classic display format in 16:9 with a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Of course, the brand with the dragon does not neglect the responsiveness of its product since we have a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The latency will also be very low since 1 ms MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time). In addition, we can count on its compatibility with the FreeSync Premium of AMD.

On the display side, this screen covers 97.59% of the DCI-P3 color space and 123.62% of the SRGB spectrum. Here, the brightness is 250 cd/m² and the contrast ratio rises to 3000:1. However, it does not benefit from any HDR certification.

We quickly finish by mentioning the presence of a swivel stand and a compatibility with VESA mounts in 75 x 75 mm. For the connectivity, it’s simple, we will have the right to a HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort 1.2.

For the moment, the availability does not seem to be effective in our traditional retailers. However, we will find some traces of it at more than 400 €.

This way to the MSI datasheet!
