Papirus Icon Theme 2017.11.02 released. Install Papirus icon theme for Linux Ubuntu. Papirus is a free and open source SVG icon theme for Linux, based on Paper Icon Set with a lot of new icons and a few extras, like Hardcode-Tray support, KDE colorscheme support, Folder Color support, and others.
Papirus icon theme is available in six variants:
- Papirus (for Arc Darker)
- Papirus Dark (for Arc Dark)
- Papirus Light (light theme with Breeze colors)
- Papirus Adapta (for Adapta)
- Papirus Adapta Nokto (for Adapta Nokto)
- ePapirus (for elementary OS and Pantheon Desktop)

Install – Ubuntu and derivatives
You can install Papirus from our official PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:papirus/papirus
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install papirus-icon-theme
or download .deb packages from here.
Install – Debian and derivatives
Debian users also can install Papirus from our PPA, but the commands will differ:
sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/papirus-ppa.list << EOF
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/papirus/papirus/ubuntu xenial main
