PlayStation State of Play today: How to watch the PS5 games reveal event

Sony regularly hosts State of Play online events to show off the latest gameplay trailers for PS5 and PS4.

This latest one is today, Thursday, 29 April 2021. It will mainly be focused on the forthcoming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PlayStation 5.

Here is how and when you can watch it online.

When is the next PlayStation State of Play event?

The online-only video will start at 10pm BST today, Thursday 29 April 2021. Here are the times for your region:

  • US West Coast: 2pm PDT
  • US East Coast: 5pm EDT
  • UK: 10pm BST
  • Central Europe: 11pm CEST
  • Japan: 7am JST (30 April)

What to expect during the latest State of Play

The PlayStation Blog has announced that the main focus of the latest State of Play will be on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart – the PlayStation 5 exclusive that will be released on 11 June.

It will include a deep dive on the gameplay, with more than 15-minutes of footage promised.

We don’t know yet if there will be additional game trailers shown during the State of Play. Guess we all have to watch to find out.
