POCO F3 GT being sold online before official launch? Listed price will surprise you!

The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition made its debut last month in China. It is the first gaming-focused smartphone from the brand. According to reports online, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will launch as the POCO F3 GT in India. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the POCO F3 GT launch so far. Well, today there has been an interesting development on the matter. While the POCO F3 GT is yet to be officially launched, the smartphone is already being sold on an e-commerce website, which not only confirms its existence but also reveals POCO F3 GT specifications and a surprising price tag.

POCO F3 GT price and specifications listed online

The POCO F3 GT has been listed for sale on a US e-commerce website Welectronics. According to the webpage, the POCO F3 GT price is USD 1,299 (approximately Rs 95,325) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The price of the POCO F3 GT that is listed on WeleElectronics is significantly higher compared to the starting price of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 22,870) of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in China.

The POCO F3 GT price is obviously listed incorrectly or it is also possible that the vendor might be selling an imported Redmi K40 gaming edition for a higher price as the smartphone is currently only available in China. Interestingly, the listing reveals that the POCO F3 GT model number is M2104K10I along with its specifications. Let us have a look.

POCO F3 GT specifications

POCO F3 GT features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,800 pixels) resolution. The smartphone has a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary camera accompanied by an 8MP and two 2MP cameras. The listing does not reveal the purpose of these three cameras but we expect the 8MP unit to be an ultrawide camera and the two 2MP sensors to be macro and depth-sensing units.

Powering the POCO F3 GT is the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. According to the e-commerce website, the phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is currently no information regarding the operating system of the smartphone but you can expect it to ship with Android 11 and MIUI 12. The POCO F3 GT has a 5,065mAh battery, two SIM card slots, 5G connectivity, NFC, an IR blaster, and a fingerprint sensor. These specifications are essentially of the Redmi K40 gaming edition and are expected to be the same for the POCO F3 GT.
