Razer’s BlackShark V2 Pro gaming headset is on sale for $160

Grab the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro wireless gaming headset for $159.99 on Amazon. The BlackShark V2 Pro sells for a regular price of $180, and this is the first direct price drop we’ve seen since the headset released a few months ago. While it is still going for its regular price in some places like the Razer website, you can find the same sale price in a couple of places like Best Buy.

We reviewed this headset back in October, and we gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 plus a Recommended badge. Rich Edmonds said, “The BlackShark V2 is a highly recommended headset, and so it’s only right we give the wireless sibling the same positive score since using one without being tethered to your desk is a dream. The audio quality is right up there with other gaming headsets, and the THX Spatial Audio system is a nice touch.”

The headset includes an immersive THX audio system. You can simulate 7.1 surround sound when you use this headset on your PC. It provides audio realism for in-game immersion, and that translates to directional audio cues and spatial audio for you. You’ll be able to know where your enemies are attacking from and follow every footstep with this system.

The Triforce Titanium 50mm high-end drivers provide individual tuning divided into three parts: highs, mids, and lows. Plus, it’s built to keep you comfortable all day, even during those long gaming sessions. The ear pads have cooling gel-infused cushions that keep you from overheating and keep pressure from building up.

There is also a detachable cardioid mic. It uses Razer’s Hyperclear tech and is tuned to have a focused pickup area for your voice. Plus you can use Razer’s free Synapse 3 software to gain access to a bunch of advanced features and voice tweaking options.
