Samsung Confirms Galaxy Note 10 Launch Date; Event Will Be Held in New York

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Note 10 launch date

While there was an earlier rumor talking about the Galaxy Note 10 launch date, Samsung has come forth with an invitation to put all those aside. With a post published on the company’s official website, the Korean giant will seemingly unveil the Galaxy Note 10 line on August 7. Samsung has also decided that the preferred venue of the launch will be New York, and has provided the details below for anyone who wishes to be part of the event through a livestream.

“The reveal will take place at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. Live streaming of the event will be available on news.samsung.com/us, www.samsungmobilepress.com and www.samsung.com.”

While Samsung has not confirmed how many models will be a part of the Galaxy Note 10 launch, it is safe to assume that countless rumors and leaks have pointed us to two variants with different specifications. One of them will be the regular Galaxy Note 10, while the bigger one and the version outfitted with better specifications is expected to be called the Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

Rumors had previously pinpointed towards the term ‘Galaxy Note 10 Pro’ as the name for the more premium version, but thanks to leaked live images of the upcoming flagship phablet, we now know this isn’t going to be the case. The ‘Plus’ offering is expected to sport a large 6.75-inch Super AMOLED screen, while the smaller version is expected to tout a 6.3-inch display.

Also, for the first time, Samsung might introduce a three-stage variable aperture mode on the Galaxy Note 10, followed by ToF sensors to significantly improve Portrait Mode shots and AR-related activities. The S-Pen that is expected to come bundled with both versions of the Note 10 is also rumored to get more upgrades than the accessory that came with the Note 9, so we’re looking forward to that.

Additionally, Samsung might use a more powerful and more efficient Exynos 9825 SoC on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. The Exynos 9825 is expected to be fabricated on the Korean giant’s advanced 7nm EUV node. We should also expect a quadruple camera system on the Note 10 Plus, while the cheaper Note 10 might feature a triple camera setup at the back.

All in all, we’ll be providing ‘on the spot’ coverage at the Galaxy Note 10 launch date, and whatever queries you have about the two potential models, we’ll make sure you get to know each and everything about them.
