Rumors of Samsung’s upcoming truly wireless earbuds have been doing the rounds for quite a while. Last month, we reported the next-generation Galaxy Buds will be called the Galaxy Buds Pro. And now, we also have some exciting new details about the upcoming product.
Samsung’s upcoming earbuds with the name Galaxy Buds Pro have spotted on the FCC website, confirming what we reported last month. Apart from that, the FCC listing is also hinting that these earbuds are likely to launch sooner rather than later. The FCC listing doesn’t reveal any details about the product, but it does give us some idea about the case of the earbuds. The FCC document suggests that the Galaxy Buds Pro case will be similar to that of the Galaxy Buds Live.
We have earlier heard the new Samsung Galaxy Buds will have the same in-ear design as the older Buds and Buds+, but with the usual improved sound quality, improved Ambient mode, and for the first time, will feature Active Noise Cancellation. Due to the in-ear design, these are expected to perform a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.
We have earlier reported that the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has the model number RM-190 and has the same battery capacity as the Buds+ (60 mAh for the buds, 472 mAh for the case), which may be an issue due to the ANC power requirements.
The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is expected in early January 2021, launched with the Samsung Galaxy S21.
