The Japanese tech giant Sony has unveiled the new NW-A306 Walkman in the Indian market. Available in black and blue, the Sony NW-A306 Walkman can be purchased for Rs 25,990. The new NW-A306 Walkman weighs 199 grams. The NW-A306 uses S-Master HX digital amp technology, developed for Walkman, compatible with the native DSD format. The Sony NW-A306 features a 3.6-inch HD TFT touch screen display, Wi-Fi support and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD. It supports Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, DSD, and FLAC audio formats, as well as an S-Master HX digital amplifier with low distortion and noise. It uses Edge-AI (Artificial Intelligence), DSEE Ultimate (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) which upscales compressed digital music files in real time. Restoring acoustic subtleties and dynamic range provides a deep and rich listening experience.

“The premium aluminum milled frame on the NW-A306 provides superior rigidity for low impedance and clear, stable sound and solid bass. The Sony Walkman NW-A306 has a battery life of up to 36 hours of 44.1kHz FLAC playback, up to 32 hours of 96kHz FLAC high resolution audio playback, or even up to 26 hours with the streaming service apps. On the connectivity front, it comes with a USB Type-C port, stereo mini-jack, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
