Sprint Offering 5 Lines of Unlimited Data for $90 Per Month

Here’s the catch: after March 31, 2018, the price of service will go up.

Have a family of five? For a limited time, you can now pay just $90 a month for everyone to get unlimited talk, text, and data on their phones via Sprint.

When you sign up for Sprint’s unlimited plan with AutoPay you’ll pay $50/month for the first line. You can then add a second line for a spouse, partner, or friend and pay $90 a month total for both lines. Then, you can add up to three more people to the plan for free.

Once you sign up, you’ll lock in that discounted rate through March 31, 2018. After that date, the price of service will go up: an extra $10 per month for the first line; the second line will stay at $40 per month; and each of the other lines will cost $30 a month. So, if you have five people on your plan, your bill will go up $100 a month, which is not insignificant.

“Customers do more with their phones every day and they want to use them without limits. With our new offer, you can sign up for a plan that allows you to surf and stream all you want and not worry about overage fees and charges,” Sprint’s Chief Marketing Officer Roger Solé said in a statement. “Why not use your wireless device to its full potential to enjoy things you love like Snapchat, social media, Twitter, watching video, texting and calling – all on our highly reliable network.”

Meanwhile, rival carrier T-Mobile is attracting customers with a different tactic: free pizza. The company today announced that it will be giving away free pizzas every Tuesday for the next four weeks, starting on Valentine’s Day.
