Last week Microsoft caused a large number of Windows 10 users to suffer APC_INDEX_MISMATCH error BSOD crashes when they tried to print after applying KB5000802 (OS Builds 19041.867 and 19042.867) for Windows 10, version 20H2. The issue affected a subset of Type 3 printer drivers and on Saturday Microsoft released a temporary workaround.
