Google has announced not to participate in-person in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021. Several tech giants like Nokia, Ericsson, Sony, and Oracle decided not to attend the global smartphone industry’s flagship event. Google said that following current COVID-19 travel restrictions and protocols, it “has made the decision to not exhibit at Mobile World Congress this year”. “We will continue to collaborate closely with GSMA and support our partners through virtual opportunities.
