The complete list of Nvidia GeForce MX350 and MX330 portable laptops

If you’re looking for a portable laptop, or perhaps a budget computer with some sort of gaming prowess in 2020, you’ll most likely get the good value for your money with some of the available Nvidia GeForce MX350/MX330 configurations out there.

These are Nvidia’s current budget-level dedicated GPUs, capable of FHD gaming with low graphics settings in most titles. Each is available in two variants, a highly-efficient implementation meant for ultrabooks, as well as a more capable version, meant for full-size laptops.

The MX330 is the least interesting of the two, as pretty much a rebined version of the MX250 chip from 2019. The MX350, on the other hand, is a significantly more capable GPU. It’s still based on the Pascal architecture, but it’s the GP107 chip with increased processing power over the MX330/MX250.

Here’s a specs sheet of these two, right next to the MX250 and GTX 1650 MQ, the next-step-up upgrade available for select ultraportables.

MX350 MX330 MX250 GTX 1650 MQ
Chip GP107 – Pascal GP108 – Pascal GP108 – Pascal TU117 – Turing
Shaders 640 384 384 1024
TM Units 53 24 24 85
Speed (Base / Boost) 747 – 1468 MHz 937 – 1582 MHz 937 – 1582 MHz 1020 – 1245 MHz
Processing Power (FP32) 1.88 TFLOPs 1.22 TFLOPs 1.21 TFLOPs 2.55 TFLOPs
Memory up to 2 GB GDDR5 up to 2 GB GDDR5 up to 2 GB GDDR5 up to 4 GB GDDR5

Memory Speed 7000 MHz 7000 MHz 7000 MHz 8000 MHz
Power – TDP 10 – 25 W 10 – 25 W 10 – 25 W 35 W

Based on these, the MX350 should provide a 25-40% boost in GPU loads and games over a similar MX330/MX250 configuration, but that’s going to vary greatly between implementations, especially with the thinner designs that get limited thermal modules and cannot squeeze maximum potential out of these chips. The GTX 1650 is a significant upgrade, though, but is only available in a handful of premium and more expensive products.

Nvidia GeForce MX350 specs - the 10W version meant for portabel laptops

We’re not talking benchmarks and performance in this article, instead, you should follow this link for a preview of the MX350 performance in a 14-inch ultraportable chassis, and we’ll update once we get to review more products. In the meantime, you should also check out this link for a more recent selection of our MX350 reviews, as well as this comparison that pitches the MX350 against AMD’s competing Vega 7/8 iGPUs.

Instead, this article gathers a complete selection of all the MX350 and MX330 laptops available right now. Most of these are 10W implementations, but we’ll mention which are the higher-power 25W versions.

Some of these devices are available with either MX330 graphics for the lower-tier specs, or MX350 for the higher-tier configurations. I’d recommend focusing on the more powerful MX350 models as much as possible, and only look into the MX330s if those are outside of your budget. In this case, though, you should also consider some of the previous MX250 notebooks available out there, given that MX250s and MX330s are barely the same chips, and you should find most of them on sale now that the updated generation is out and available.

Finally, keep in mind that this list is a work in progress, and some of the info is based on rumors and early leaks. Thus, if you spot errors or know of any product that should be in here and is not, please give us a heads-up in the comments section at the end of the article.
